Many things can help stabilize us in the midst of a crisis. I made a quick video that teaches one of my favorite simple grounding techniques that can help center you when you are distressed. I teach this to all of my clients and incorporate this into my EMDR sessions. The specific combination of deep breathing and tapping can slow your nervous system and bring you out of fight or flight mode. It is one of the most beneficial things you can do when you are in crisis or distress of any kind. Enter your information below to receive the video that teaches this simple grounding technique that calms distressing emotions. It will give you a glimpse into working with me!

Be sure to follow me on social media for additional resources on managing crisis, trauma and emotional dysregulation. I want to teach you how to stabilize yourself and move forward with your life.

TESTIMONIALS

Thank you for the link! The butterfly breathing totally saved me in the middle of an anxiety attack yesterday. You are so good at your job!

I love this technique so much! I’d learned a much more complicated tapping system years ago in therapy but it was really hard to recreate without a trained professional leading me through it. This is so simple the kids can do it. Thanks for sharing!! — Chelsea
